Polish Immigrant Hotline: Why the Netherlands is not the same Netherlands we all loved..

To understand why the Dutch nation is what it is today one needs to look at those persons who were behind the destruction of Dutch culture and national identity. The main culprit was Pim Fortuyn, who tore down mainly Dutch tolerance, but also brought the notion of Nederland is vol (the Netherlands is full). While Fortuyn left a horrible legacy on Dutch society, the other problem is the Dutch political norm that one does not become critical of another political party initiatives and actions. The European Parliament is doing a much needed service of bringing the far right under a long overdue check. Nation building includes the continuous maintenance of a Europe orientation to Member State identities - and this aspect of membership of the European Union has long been neglected by the Union institutions. The Netherlands is no longer a European nation, but its national identity can be rebuilt and repaired.

Part Two: Volkskrant and it’s shameless “standing for (Dutch misconceived) free expression”

pvv.page

Volkskrant, (a former Catholic pillar newspaper that is pro-Wilders) shows no shame or fear of stigma for itself or its advertisers when it chose to run the PVV’s “Polish immigrant hotline” advertisements. Rather than shame and stigma for itself and its advertisers, the editors of Volkskrant are likely to pat themselves on the back as“free speech heroes.” However, “free speech protection” is actually in relation to individuals, groups and governments, not between private persons and groups. Here is where the Fortuynian conception of “free speech respect” is all wrong! For example, calling on boycotts of Volkskrant’s advertisers is not “anti-free speech,” but the right of free speech on the part of those calling for a boycott. Persons and groups have the right of free speech to call on others to not buy products advertised on Volkskrant’s website or newspaper. It is also the free speech right of persons and groups to call Volkskrant (rightfully in my view) a “pro-Wilders, xenophobic, hate-mongering newspaper that probably has Nazis as readers.”

Poor Little Extremist Brat! Geert Wilders angry over German extreme right propaganda report!

wilders.nazi1

Wilders is upset by a report that helps establish his influence on the extreme right over the Internet and social networks, including neo-Nazis in Germany. Well – Wilders now wants the German ambassador to “get an ear washing.” It’s actually the Dutch government that needs an ear washing – the Dutch need an ear washing as to how a governmental coalition was formed with Geert Wilders and the PVV. Also, the anti-Muslim hate and the attempts to spread it through out Europe and the North America (as well as Germany) has resulted in more radicalization of young people and possible violence against Muslims and minority communities. It’s the Dutch that need the ear washing, not the Germans, who are trying to protect their democratic society from the likes of Wilders and his PVV.

Aughh!

Queen Beatrix visits Saudi Arabia – PVV shows anti Dutch colors!

A wonderful statement for the Dutch nation and its traditions was made today by Queen Beatrix on her visit to Saudi Arabia. Beatrix and Maxima were wearing headscarves on their visit to mosque, but they also paid respect to the Dutch tradition of tolerance, respect and understanding. The message Beatrix left was also one of tolerance, respect and understanding, representing the best of the Dutch nation. In her visit, Beatrix also demonstrated that she is head of state and queen for all Dutch people, including Dutch followers of Islam. Beatrix must have known that her brave visit and actions would cause trouble with the anti-Dutch PVV and Geert Wilders. The House of Orange was against the Spanish rule in the 1500s and today it faces Geert Wilders and the PVV rule. We must admire Queen Beatrix’s brave and courageous stand to represent Dutch traditions and tolerance in Saudi Arabia.

The Dutch “discover” the “shocking” truth about immigration to the Netherlands

counting.Muslims

The Dutch have now “discovered” the truth about who is migrating to their country. The “shocking numbers” are said to be an “explosion” of…nope…WAIT…..not Muslims…but East Europeans. Yep, that’s right – the truth about who is really migrating to the Netherlands is coming out! But – those that read Yellow Stars know that the highest number of immigrants to the Netherlands are likely to come from Poland, not a “Muslim country.” Since many Dutch, including minorities now suffer from unemployment, the “tsunami of Poles” and workers from other European nations are now a problem. There is a need in the Netherlands to take the discussion of immigration away from the hateful “tsunami of Muslims” myths of Geert Wilders and put them into serious issues where only the truth should be discussed, for good or bad. Given the Thatcherite background of Rutte and the VVD, this discussion about social benefits to Dutch citizens in need must be watched carefully!
