The origins of Cameron’s troublemaking in the European Union
Europe and the world are "shocked" by the selfishness of the David Cameron's "veto," but this can be understood from the view of being a Thatcherite that is naturally hostile to the European project. There has always been a hate and mistrust of the European project because it is seen as trampling on the US “special relationship.” It's not only selfishness, but playing games that hinder the progress of the European project is also a stock-and-trade of this ilk. This serves to preserve the “special relationship” between mainly the UK and the US by sabotaging the EU whenever possible. The UK will be excluded, which is something that this ilk wants and has longed for. Atlanticism is of greater value than the European project to Thatcher, Cameron and Rutte. Even with the UK out, the second hard-line Atlanticist country is the Netherlands and it has all the tools to play more Thatcherite games without the UK inside of the EU.

Why far right terrorism is dangerous in Europe: November 17 and the National Socialist Underground in Germany-comparisons.
The world is scratching its collective head and wondering how and why the Nationalist Socialist Underground of Germany (NSU) was able to get away with terrorist activities for 13 years. The case of the NSU brings to mind another long running far left terrorist group of the Cold War: November 17 (17N). 17N had a run of 27 years of terrorizing pro-NATO targets in Greece before efforts between British and Greek intelligence agencies brought the terrorist group down. The explanation as to why both terrorist cells were allowed to exist for years “without detection” is where the idea of “politically correct” terrorism can take on its true and outrageous meaning. Terrorism that is acceptable to the public, police – and government - against hated groups is the real threat to security and democracy in European nations. What will surprise most is that politically correct terrorism, or socially acceptable terrorism, is something that is not new to Europe. The social, political and national climates that provide supporters and networks are vital for terrorists. The conditions that lead to the rise of terrorism and its persistence in a democratic society can be studied. This paper, which will probably be a part of a larger report, takes a look at mainly the issue of possible public support of terrorist groups and individuals in a democratic society.

Waarom is extreem-rechts terrorisme gevaarlijk in Europa?

Egypt violence: Where is the Dutch government?
There is more violence in Egypt and was again condemned by the European Union. However, unlike the violence against the Coptic Christians, there is a noticeable silence from The Hague. The Egyptians cry for democracy and an end to military rule, and in the past the Dutch would have been for their interests. This lack of a strong reaction from the Dutch government to the military police force to give the religious background of the victims as Muslims may have something to do with this silence. This comes at a time of growing concern about the behavior of Dutch foreign policy that is useless and marginalizing. I offer a few explanations, but what is sad is that the Dutch have a chance to really do something productive in the world is lacking.

Germany’s “mysterious murder series” and the “new far right terrorism.”
Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich, Germany's interior minister, is an Islamophobic boob himself, is now "discovering" some kind of "new terrorism" in his own country. The obvious murders of Turkish businessmen and threats from a Nazi group to carry out more murders is defiantly terrorism by many definitions (except in the Netherlands, where it's "Not Muslim, not terrorist. No Islam, no radicalization"). The reality is that, as we have been saying for a few years now, the "new terrorism" in Europe comes from the radical right, not so-called "Islamists and jihadists." Answering the question as to why these radicalized individuals were allow to fly under the radar starts with how "terrorism" and "the threat of terrorism" are defined by European security and law enforcement. Since these are ethnic Germans, they can't possibly be "terrorists." Nope - Not Muslim, not terrorist. No Islam, no radicalization. We thought that the Norway, July 22, 2011 would be a wake-up call for governments across the Atlantic. Nope - after Norway, it was back wasting millions of euros and manpower to chasing the same ol' ghosts of "Islamists and jihadists" for European security and intelligence agencies. And - that's the main problem here! Get this in your heads European counter-terrorism "experts": THERE ARE NO ISLAMIST TERRORISTS IN EUROPE TO THE SAME EXTENT AS RADICAL RIGHT TERRORISTS!

No Islam, geen radicalisering").
