Polish Immigrant Hotline: Why the Netherlands is not the same Netherlands we all loved..

To understand why the Dutch nation is what it is today one needs to look at those persons who were behind the destruction of Dutch culture and national identity. The main culprit was Pim Fortuyn, who tore down mainly Dutch tolerance, but also brought the notion of Nederland is vol (the Netherlands is full). While Fortuyn left a horrible legacy on Dutch society, the other problem is the Dutch political norm that one does not become critical of another political party initiatives and actions. The European Parliament is doing a much needed service of bringing the far right under a long overdue check. Nation building includes the continuous maintenance of a Europe orientation to Member State identities - and this aspect of membership of the European Union has long been neglected by the Union institutions. The Netherlands is no longer a European nation, but its national identity can be rebuilt and repaired.

Polish Immigrant Hotline: Geert Wilders and the PVV shame the Netherlands again!

pvv.page

We have sat and watched how Geert Wilders and his PVV “political party” have again embarrassed the Netherlands with a webpage-hotline that is intended to “report bad behavior of Polish immigrants.” This action by the PVV has now angered many in Europe, especially from the East European nations that have citizens living and working in the Netherlands. This is more Fortuyn inspired nonsense and yet another action to drag down the Netherlands and its international standing to the mud. “Nederland is vol” is back and it is hurting the view of the Netherlands in the European Union and as a civilized nation. There is a need to challenge the Dutch nation from the outside, as the Dutch political system and the pro-Wilders Dutch media stand in the way. European nations must care other European nations in the interest of European peace and security. Human rights in European nations are not just for EU citizens and non-Muslims. Most of all, we need to call on the Dutch to return to their once great and admired national character.

Wear my ACLU tee-shirt tomorrow, September 11, 2011!

I will wear my ACLU shirt on the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. This is a statement against the abuses that the 9-11 excuse have brought. The September 11th attacks mark not just a horrible attack, but the real onslaught against our freedom, liberties and human rights. It also marked an onslaught against the human rights instruments and institutions Europe built after WWII to protect individuals against government abuses. While the September 11 is a National Day of Service and Remembrance - it should also be an International Day for the Fight for Human Rights.

More Aviation Security Insanity from TSA

TSA_Soviet

Yep, TSA does it again! It was predictable that silly and ridiculous focus on WHO rather than WHAT on airplanes would take, well, silly and ridiculous heights. Well, at a height of 30,000 feet a distinguished Mexican professor with Leftist leanings suddenly became a "dangerous individual." The TSA closed airspace to Professor Aguilar's airplane and it was forced to land in Monterrey. This outrageous case just shows the absolute silliness of the notion of "dangerous individuals riding on airplanes" as some kind of "security threat." The TSA behaves like a Soviet security agency with regard to Professor Aguilar and this behavior is abhorrent and openly un-American!

The Insane Islamophobia in America’s Airline industry – and putting a stop to IT!

Us__Them_1

The insanity of Islamophobia as justification to harass and deny basic civil rights and travel freedoms to Muslims at airports and by airlines was notched up to a higher level when Muslim leaders traveling to a North Carolina conference on Islamophobia experienced it first hand while using air travel. We know that mental disorder of Islamophobia is present at our airports, in the "counter-terrorism" studies - but this Islamophobia proudly practiced by Delta Airlines and its Atlantic Southwest Airlines reached a new level of absolute insanity!
