Kosovo needs Serbia
One country that is deserving of EU membership is Serbia. First the efforts that the European Union poured into to opposition against Milosevic in the October 2000 elections could have been the real blow that removed Europe’s last dictator from office. Since then, Serbs have been loyal to the idea of a “European Serbia” – but this support was dependent upon the EU maintaining a commitment to the country and its fledgling democracy.
