Slaughter BAN: Dutch continue to throw away their culture and history.
Article 13 of the Union of Utrecht and Dutch religious freedom. The Netherlands is a nation of religious minorities that helped pioneer the religious freedom that we have today and has for centuries been welcoming refugee for Jews that were persecuted in other parts of Europe. The noteworthy instrument is Article 13 of the Union of Utrecht (1579), which Paul Arblaster (2006) called a kind of “don’t ask, don’t tell” when it came to freedom of conscience and “provided space for alternative religious groups” to set up a presence in the Dutch RepubliDutch parliament approves ban on religious slaughterc. It’s “Leftist” to celebrate REAL Dutch values! But – the Dutch people today have, as argued by this Author, turned against their own culture, history and national identity. What it means to be really Dutch, religious tolerance and pride in a the pioneering religious freedom, are now considered “Leftist.” The “ban” on ritual slaughter is just the latest in how much the Dutch have been driven away from their cherished national identity, grounded on tolerance and multiculturalism by infantile and dubious “debates” and twisted myths about Muslims. Pim Fortuyn is probably a large measure of why the Dutch people are now at this new, low level. The Dutch loss of its status as the undisputed champion of religious freedom was noted by the Anti-Defamation League:
“By voting for a de facto ban on kosher slaughter, the lower house of the Dutch parliament has repudiated the Netherlands’ historic commitment to religious freedom.”
“”We have passed the stage of arguing the nuances of intention of anti-Semitism. The practical effects of this bill mean that Jews are no longer welcome in The Netherlands. This has not happened for 70 years,” Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt.
Well, its “Leftist” to complain about this anti-Semitic rubbish, as well as celebrate REAL Dutch values. Likewise, support for full freedom of religion and human rights at home and abroad, once great and celebrated Dutch attributes, are now “linkse hobbies” (leftist hobbies) or even being culpable in the assassination of Pim Fortuyn! As I stated in the last post, animals are more important than people are, especially Muslim people, and the new “rechtse hobby” is to further damage and destroy Dutch culture and national identity. What we should note is that this ban is acting as a kind of dog whistle for radical right, anti-Semitic forces that celebrate Geert Wilders, whether Wilders likes their admiration or not…
For the Jewish people, the ban has historical connections to Nazi Germany and persecution of the Jews. Such a bans have been signs of unwelcome for Jewish people. Dutch Jews are said to be effected the most, as slaughtered meat must not have blemishes and require a single cut to the large blood vessel of the neck. The meat will have to be imported or Jews will have to leave the Netherlands, and this ban has caused a very serious chill among European Jews that has not been felt for some time.
This attempted ban will be fought, but what good has come out is that it has prompted a long overdue alliance between Dutch Jews and Muslims. This ban is a violation of the European Convention of Human Rights (a Leftist document?) and the Jewish people — who should have all of our help and support — will fight this ban, from within the Netherlands and outside of it.
Expect more anti-Dutch policies from this radical “Brown Coalition” and more international embarrassment for the Dutch nation. Article 13 of the Union of Utrecht is, after all, a “Leftist” invention, way back in 1579, and embrace of REAL Dutch values and identity are also a “linkse hobbies.” The opposition will be described as hated “Leftists” and “acting in support of Muslim subversion of Dutch culture.” The Netherlands is a very sick nation now, with a political class and public that have lost their very identity and their very minds.
