Dutch ritual slaughter debate a sign of real intentions?
The ritual slaughter debate in the Netherlands and the attempt by Wilders and the rest of the PVV pond scum to curb religious freedom in the Netherlands. The ban would have also affected religious freedom of Dutch Jews - and should be a lesson that the PVV pond scum are nobody's friend. Placing a ban on ritual slaughter would have placed the Netherlands into line with anti-Semitic policies of the past, including the Nazi regime. The compromise is also NO better - and the regulating of ritual slaughter will appear a little better than a ban. The PVV and Wilders are political animals that are not interested in Dutch Jews. And- the safety of animals matter more to the Dutch government that the safety of Dutch Muslim citizen-human beings.

Wilders ‘vrijspraak maakt hem niet minder gevaarlijk
De vrijspraak van Geert Wilders was waarschijnlijk te verwachten als het verloop van het proces ging. De Nederlandse samenleving is zinken enige tijd, en dit is slechts de laatste in deze ooit zo grote en model natie verliest haar identiteit. Wat overblijft is dat Wilders is een zeer gevaarlijk radicalizer die vrij kunnen reizen en radicaliseren anderen, en degenen die zijn geradicaliseerd kan gaan tot daden van terrorisme plegen tegen moslimgemeenschappen. De wijze waarop Wilders 'trial eindigde zijn zeker niet een validatie van zijn verkeerde en radicale claims betekent, maar de tijd zal ons leren of de Nederlanders hebben nu ontketend nog een ander ernstig probleem op de rest van ons.

Wilders’ acquittal does not make him less dangerous
The acquittal of Geert Wilders was probably expected as the course of the trial went on. Dutch society has been sinking for some time now, and this is just the latest in this once great and model nation losing its very identity. What remains is that Wilders is a highly dangerous radicalizer who can freely travel and radicalize others, and those who have been radicalized may go on to commit acts of terrorism against Muslim communities. The manner in which Wilders' trial ended are by no means a validation of his wrong and radical claims, but time will tell if the Dutch have now unleashed yet another serious problem on the rest of us.

Fatima Achfie : The Rosa Parks of Utrecht
A month ago, a story trickled out of the Netherlands about women wearing hoofddoekjes (headscarves) left standing as buses passed them by. The situation is a reminder of the discrimination faced by Rosa Parks, who was ordered to give up her seat to a white passenger. Fatima Achfie of Utrecht never got to get a seat, but she did report her discrimination, which appears to have been based on her headscarf, and is also a part of the larger problem of societal hostility faced by Dutch Muslims. What is needed in the Netherlands and the rest of the Western world is a new Rosa Parks - and defiance against the acceptance of personal and public Islamophobia.

RIGHT about the WRONG and dangerous directions of “counter-terrorism” practice
The past few months have produced reports that further my belief that Western counter-terrorism policy and practice is obsessed and focused in the wrong direction of chasing the ghosts of "Islamists and jihadists" (as they are in the Netherlands), while the investigations and actions against right wing radicals and extremists have been gutted at the DHS. At the same time, another study shows the unregulated industry of "counter-terrorism training" is teaching our police and security to use Islamophobic stereotypes in "finding and stopping terrorists." I was RIGHT about the WRONG and dangerous direction of "counter-terrorism" - and the overemphasis and obsession on "Islamist terrorism" has allowed right wing radicals and extremists free hand to plot and carry out attacks against other Americans, including police officers, but also Muslim communities, as well as other hated groups of Americans.

Vancouver riots and our sick sports culture
The problem in Vancouver is not just from the rioters, but the conditions in Vancouver - and also the NHL and sports writers that throw gas of the fire (yes-pun intended!) of the Canucks loss to Boston. What the people of Vancouver should have done is to hold a parade for the Canucks, along with a huge party, win or lose, just as the Dutch did after their World Cup loss to Spain last year. The Vancouver Canucks had a great season -- the NHL and sports writers will need to be reminded -- and this should be celebrated, not shamed!
