Bin Laden DEAD: Hell gains another occupant!
Since September 2001, we have been waiting for the other shoe to drop, the news that Osama bin Laden was captured or killed. Now, after almost ten years, we have the news of this madman’s violent end. We should have known that it would be how this madman, who is responsible for the murders of millions, Muslims and non-Muslims, would meet his fate. To avoid this madman’s grave from being a sick holy site and shrine for lunatics – the madman’s remains have been deposited in the deepest ocean. [Al Jazeera - Osama bin Laden killed in Pakistan]
The Navy SEALs and all who took part in this operation must be acknowledged as exceptional men for their courage and skill in bringing this day about. Let’s first remember them and this mission they accomplished and the magnitude of their achievement.Now – what needs to be made clear, as in President Obama’s statement, we are not at war with Islam and Bin Laden is not a Muslim leader, but has been involved in the killings of scores of Muslims. This is also reflected in the EU’s statement on the death of this criminal madman.
Osama Bin Laden was a criminal responsible for heinous terrorist attacks that cost the lives of thousands of innocent people. His death makes the world a safer place and shows that such crimes do not remain unpunished.This is a major achievement in our efforts to rid the world of terrorism. The European Union continues to stand shoulder to shoulder with the United States, our international partners and our friends in the Muslim world in combating the scourge of global extremism and in building a world of peace, security and prosperity for all.
Yes, hell has gained another occupant – and let’s hope we are all safer and more secure now !
