When is the time for the EU to act?

We should have thought the the Lisbon Treaty would embolden the European Union to develop its defense and military capabilities. The case of Libya could have advanced the EU's common security and defense policies. We are waiting - but could the UN resolution authorizing a no fly zone help push the EU in the right direction?Can we actually trust a ceasefire claim from Gaddafi?

There is a growing threat against Leftist-Liberal journalists, activists and groups over the Internet. This growing threat comes from cyber security firms and individuals in them that are charged with tools to combat international terrorism and cyber warfare against America.However, within these organizations could be individuals of a conservative and right-wing orientation that are bent on harassing, intimidating and pressuring progressive activists and groups in the name of conservative and radical right ideology.

Silly”Muslim radicalization”hearings will expose Islamophobic myths?

The hearing held by Rep. King of New York are a hate-mongering farce that focuses on the ginned up "problem" of "Muslim radicalization." When we see the data on "homegrown" security threats in the US - we see this threat coming from the explosive growth of the hatemongers, the nativists and the antigovernment zealots groups - not "Muslim radicalization." chasing the non-existent witches of "Muslim radicalization" will get neeed exposure to the real threats - as well point out to Americans that "Muslim radicalization" is a very tiny even non-existent problem.

Will EU take the next step in Libya?

The EU has been treading toward an independent military capacity for some time in peace support missions. With blessings of the Security Council, it is now time for the EU to take its military and defense policy a step further in Libya.
