Hooray! Victory for freedom and democracy!This was the strong and forceful message from Labour Party winner, Margaret Hodge to especially Nick Griffin – as Labour stormed to victory against the BNP in Barking and Dagenham. The BNP slid down by two percentage points and into third place in the recent elections. Unite Against Fascism issued a statement that this was a victory by anti-Nazi forces though hard-work. Margaret Hodge described this fight against fascist Nick Griffin and the BNP as the “toughest battle of my life.”This humiliation of the BNP follows on the heels of other election losses for far-right, extremist parties, like the Austrian “Freedom Party” and Jobbik. Again, as in other European elections couple weeks ago, racist, fascist and neo-Nazi parties continue to suffer declines. It is time to tell all of the far-right, those that use the Islamification myth too -
